The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has the responsibility of handling all administrative, organisational and financial tasks related to preparing, executing and concluding the IAME2009 conference. Maritime Development Centre of Europe (MDCE) forms the nucleus of the day-to-day handling of all practical issues related to organising the conference. Scientific Executive Committee 

To ensure the effective management of academic contributions to the conference – both those provided by papers and those by keynote speakers – a scientific executive committee has been established consisting of:

Based on the recommendations of the International Scientific Review Panel the SEC will setup the thematic sessions of the programme.
